Tuck Foster and the Mossrites
Tuck Foster has been singing the story of Blues music for over 25 years all over the Northwest. Featured at every Blues festival promoted, he has been awarded “Best Male Blues Vocalist”, “Best Blues Harmonica” & “Best Blues Performer” by the Inland Empire Blues Society in 2004 and 2005.
Tuck has created a new band Tuck Foster & The Mossrites, and with the help of some very talented musicians, Tuck and his crew are keeping the vibrancy of the Blues scene alive and thriving. The Mossrites are; Pat Moss on Bass, Jason Moore on Blues guitar, and Mike Geho on drums. Having just started as a band in early May, their flow as a group is rhythmically seamless. Their years of accomplished musicianship are evident as soon as they hit the stage.
“Tuck Foster on harp and vocals is a bay area transplant and is a huge enhancement to the Northwest blues scene. He is a great harmonica player, and his gritty vocals compliment the Chicago electric blues style of yesterday perfectly, but I would have to say his greatest contribution to the stage is his presence. He takes hold of the crowd immediately and maintains total control… and his down-to-earth attitude and amusing onstage antics keeps’ em at ease and grinnin’ from the first note to the last.” –Kevin ‘Bad Dog’ Shenefiel, Washington Blues Society.
