Yakima’s Got Talent,
A Benefit for The Seasons Performance Hall

On Friday, May 29, all locals with a talent, and a passion to perform it, are invited to become contestants for Yakima’s Got Talent, the Seasons Performance Hall’s first fundraiser in 2009.  Are you a starving artist, a stand-up comedian, secretly learning to levitate, or longing to sing in the spotlight? Whatever your forte, this is your opportunity to astonish on the mainstage and win the grand prize of $500 cash and a limo ride to Seattle for a weekend getaway.

Reesha from “Reesha in the Morning”, John Gasperetti, and Melissa Labberton will judge who has the most talent to win the grand prize.  If you miss Reesha in the mornings’ lively antics, come and catch her live for Yakima’s Got Talent.  John Gasperetti, owner of Gasperetti's restaurant, is a much beloved local showman himself.  Melissa Labberton has been involved in the theatre life of Yakima for many years.  Come and show your craft for these engaging and discerning judges

Open auditions will be held on May 29 between 3PM-10PM.  After submitting an application form, contestants will be given a timeslot to perform in front of the judges.  Contestants can obtain application forms below, or call 453-1888.  These auditions will be open to the public for $10 a seat. Don’t miss seeing the wide array of what Yakima has to offer!

The top contestants selected by the judges from the May 29th auditions will be showcased at the Seasons on the evenings of Friday June 5 and Saturday June 6.  The grand prize winner will be selected by the audience on Friday, June 12.  Seats will be sold from $15-$30 for the final performances and will begin at 7:30PM.  
These events will be fun for all ages.  Refreshments, beer & wine will be available.
