Better Late Than Never: The Best of (Last) Decade at The Seasons

Who doesn’t love a “Top Ten” list?  All of us who thoroughly enjoyed the record junkie nerdiness of the movie "High Fidelity", know that there is nothing more debatable, and inspiring of true camaraderie than a good “Top Ten.” We’ve been reading a lot of “Best of the Decade” lists lately- we’ve read Rolling Stone’s opinion, Metacritic’s opinion, Hipster Runoff’s opinion, and now it’s our turn.
Looking back over the last decade, and for us that would actually be since our inception in October 2005- over hundreds of brilliant, breathtaking performances- what would be our staff favorites and picks by our artistic contributors?
It was virtually impossible to comparatively rate any of the amazing artists who have performed at The Seasons, but we did try, really, just for the sake of fun.

A Look Ahead: 2010

Happy New Year! We have an exciting year of great performances lined up. Look forward to weekly performances featuring Jazz, Latin, Folk, Blues, Classical and even Opera through April. Summer will bring you another high energy outdoor concert series, and in October be ready for our fifth annual Fall Music Festival! 2010 will truly have something for everyone...So tell your friends about The Seasons or, better yet, bring them along.

JAZZ: From the Big Apple & Beyond

Artists celebrated on a national level, artists from international backgrounds, and artists whose music stem from a variety of cultural influence- The Seasons upcoming Jazz Series. This series begins with The Ingrid Jensen Quartet, followed by The Mauger Trio featuring saxophonist Rudresh Mahanthappa, audience favorite Tierney Sutton and ends with famed Czech pianist and composer Emil Viklicky.
